Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Mousse Makeup: A Review

Thursday, September 13, 2012

I bought this product while abroad because I needed one asap and I left mine back home. I should've just chosen a cheaper one, for sure it would have been better. This is one of the worst I've ever tried.

In the store, The testers for the different shades were arranged in a straight line, with the products they represent behind them. I actually chose the Natural Beige shade. So I grabbed the first one in the column behind the tester without checking. Big mistake. I accidentally got the Shell shade and I only realized when I got home. Humpf! And because we were only there for vacation, I had no time to have it replaced.

Here's what I have to say:

PROS:
-can't even think of any

CONS:
- hard to control how much comes out when sprayed
- smells SUPER bad (I don't know if it's just me, or just the shade i have, which is shell 02. I would not use my blush brush to apply my brush just cause I don't want it to smell like this product.)
- my face becomes unnaturally glittery
- slight water/moisture and it's gone/ it fades

Coverage would have been decent enough if it weren't for the sparkly effect. I look like a freakin' vampire from the Twilight series. Not cool.

Rating: 0/5

I don't need to tell you whether I'll repurchase or not.
